Fun Find : Belle Boutique

A favorite part of my job is researching and finding new shops and brands. I've always got my eye on social media, news and word on the street to scout out fun items for my clients.

One local shop I recently found is Belle Boutique.  After liking so much of what I was seeing on Instagram I reached out to the owner to schedule a visit. Currently located in Belmont, a new shop in McAdenville will be opening in May (stay tuned to my IG for news about the Grand Opening party!). First, let me say that Belmont is the cutest little town and honestly not that far of a drive. I took my mom with me and we chatted the whole time in the car, so 40 minutes from where I live felt like 15. When we arrived, I was taken aback by the gorgeous homes and cute restaurants in historic downtown Belmont. Belle Boutique is in the sweetest old home with a great front porch (and a porch swing!) and decorated like a magazine (I might've snapped a photo of the adorbs bathroom, see below). The owner, Shannon, is as sweet as she is Southern. We hit it off right away as we chatted about clothes, husbands and the fact that our UPS delivery person either loves or hates us. When I asked about the name she told me, "Belle means beauty. The name came from the verse in Proverbs 31:25 about being 'clothed in strength and dignity.' At Belle, we believe what's most important is what you put on the inside first, then we get to share in making our Belles feel beautiful on the outside as well." Love it. I believe the same thing and have almost the same words on my About Me page!

With brands like She & Sky, Twine & Twig and BeachCandy, the shop is chock full of unique clothing and accessories. And aside from ALL the fabulous tops, cute dresses and denim, there were the lightest seed bead earrings (that may have come home with me), the softest Turkish cotton beach towels, great little clutches and SO much more. Charlotte-area friends: you really need to make a run down I85 - hit the boutique, eat at a fun local restaurant then hit the antiques stores - Boom. Saturday planned. And, if you aren't local you can shop her store online HERE

Chambray Spatter top....LOVE! And the Twine & Twig necklace...SWOON!

This one-shoulder beauty looks so great with the wooden beads!

If you are a mom and drive kids to carpool, pretty sure you need this tee in your life.

#givemeallthenecklaces   - The red ones on the top right came home with me. I wore them out to dinner last night and will post on IG soon!

More of those fab seed bead earrings. Gotta love a statement earring that's light as a feather! And can we talk about that leopard clutch? If you don't have a leopard handbag, you need one. It's neutral, goes with everything and packs a serious style punch.

Twine & Twig offerings.

The cutest boutique I've been to in a while. Seriously.

I actually love the painted wooden ladder but I suppose you could say I was also snapping the cute straw backpack, leopard slides and hats. SQUEEE!!!

These darlings could dress up your fave LBD or a basic white tee. Gotta love versatile jewelry.

And then there's the bathroom. I'm a sucker for an old house (this one was built in 1856!) and glass door knobs. Don't even get me started on a big soaker tub.

Shannon and her adorable logo. The gold sparkle and dots (they read as tiny diamonds on the website) says it all about her personality.

#RUNDONTWALK.....AND LET HER KNOW CHARLOTTE SHOP GIRL SENT YOU!!!

TASH Blogger Launch Party

Hey Guys! Last week I attended one of the most fun events I've been to in a while. My friend Brianne of www.scrubsandsparkles.com and I collaborated with Tash Boutique to celebrate the launch of her blog and the re-launch of mine (I had my site redesigned and started working with a professional photographer in April). We shopped, we styled, we networked, we purchased (and at a special discount, I might add!). Along with the black printed tassel-edged dress on both Brianne and I  (that little number went home with both of us!), I also scored a dotted, multi-colored and super-soft pair of DL jeans that I can't wait to style for both now and later as well as a great printed light sweater that will also be the perfect transition piece. Oh yeah and a gorgeous House of Harlowe pave arrow ring that I've been wearing every day since! Tash Boutique has it all - a great selection of luxe fabrics and tastefully selected pieces from both well-known and eclectic designers, gorgeous statement jewelry, prices that won't break the bank AND a friendly staff. The owner, Natasha, is nearly nine months pregnant and outlasted both Brianne and I in her heels! If you are in the Charlotte area, I highly recommend stopping in. And if not, their website is shoppable! Win, win!
