Hello Gorgeous! It's been nearly four months since I've posted and guys, I'm sorry. For those of you who don't know, my dad passed away in February. It's been a tough couple of months since then and I miss him dearly. My mom and I have been supporting each other and she has decided to move to Charlotte! I'm excited to have her nearby, albeit for sad reasons. We've both been going to GriefShare, which is a wonderful program that helps you through your grief journey. I highly recommend it for anyone who has lost a loved one.
Summer weather is upon us! It's already been over the 90 degree mark here in Charlotte and I've been to our pool for what may have been the last time because #moving. Summer is my favorite season - give me a reason to wear an eyelet top and cutoff shorts and I'm a happy girl! Trends this summer are taking some cues from last summer's vibrant and whimsical pieces with more tassels and fringe, but embroidered items and patched denim has emerged as a forerunner. If you're a DIY'er, you can recreate this look on your own for under $10! I just bought these from Amazon and can't WAIT to get them on a pair of white denim. I'm loving the South American theme and found the embroidered top below on Amazon and the shorts at TJ Maxx. The earrings are from a local gal here who sources her items from artisan women who live in impoverished countries. Every summer Style Box client will be getting a pair! OH! Speaking of, if you'd like more info on my Style Boxes, email me! I've still got a few spots left for July and August!
